Consigli di visione cinematografica: "Arancia meccanica"

Tratto dall'omonimo romanzo distopico (che potrebbe tradursi letteralmente Un'arancia ad orologeria) scritto da Anthony Burgess nel 1962, prefigura - appoggiandosi ad uno stile fantascientifico - una società votata ad una esasperata violenza (giovanile, ma non solo) e ad un condizionamento del pensiero. Quando fu distribuita sul circuito cinematografico, all'inizio degli anni Settanta, la pellicola destò scalpore (con una schiera di ammiratori pronti a gridare al capolavoro ma anche con una forte corrente di parere contrario) per il taglio originale e visionario adottato nella narrazione, che faceva ricorso in maniera iperrealistica, ma anche senza indugi speculativi, a scene di violenza.
